To maximize the talents of our guest speaker Mark Floro, we are changing our theme next month to Food Photography, more specifically ‘Art in Food’.  Please refer to the announcement email sent to all members.  Here is a sample of what the theme is meant.

The new year brings some new faces as well as not so new faces in the limelight as we start the monthly competition. This month’s theme ‘CIRCLES’ was a success as close to 50 entries were submitted to the contest. Here are the top 3 winners:

The last month of competition had the theme ‘Pets and Animals’.  One odd observation by one of the guest judge was whether insects are considered animals.  Anyway, besides the triple treat we got for having 3 guest lecturers, having our photos critiqued was always the highlight of the meeting.  Here are the top 3 winners:
