Hi Sunshot Peeps,

It’s almost half of 2009 and yet we really haven’t had any activity aside from the monthly meetings. We feel it’s about time we all sit down and discuss our plans for the remainder of the year. For the June 2009 Sunshot Meeting (scheduled June 10, 2009, Tuesday at 6:00PM), we intend to do just that.

The monthly contest will still push through as usual but instead of inviting a speaker to discuss a photography topic of interest, we will all talk about how we are doing and what’s in store for the next 6 months or so. So it’s gonna be kinda a short but meaningful meeting, so we hope to see all of you there.

by the way, our Sunshot Photography Theme for June 2009 is “Yamang Dagat”

June 2009 Theme - Yamang Dagat

Our theme for June is a tribute to water inhabitants of all shapes and sizes, living or non living, Dead or Alive, Under water, over water, out of water or whatever. Time to dig up your creativities again as we tackle these water inhabiting subjects.

Regards,
Sunshot Core Team

We have invited master photographer Mark Floro to be our next speaker for our February 10 meeting.  He’s asking the members what topic/s do we like to be covered/discussed.  Any suggestions? You can view his site at www.markfloro.com to have an idea. Some have already suggested to have a practical application during the session where he can give us tips on how to shoot food.  This is a once in a lifetime opportunitiy to have him as our speaker (no talent fee at that!).  Let’s take advantage of this :D
